Lake Benton Opera House Show... Sister Hubert (Kathy Wilmes of Tyler), Sister Amnesia (Teresa Binkley of Brookings, SD), Rev- erend Mother (Val Langbehn of Aurora), Sister Robert Anne (Nikki GIover of EIkton, SD), and Father Virgil (Stuart Melby of Brookings) kick up their heels in "Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christ- mas Musical" coming to the Lake Benton Opera House. 1943-44-45 ,lc int Class Reunion Held RHS Class of 1943-44-45 joint class reunion was held September 14 at the Green Lantern Cafe. A very good meal was served by Grace and her staffand about three or four hours of fellowship and hashing over old times was en- joyed by all. A total of 48 class- mates attended with"some coming from as far away as California and Pennsylvania. Class of '43 attendees were Donald DeRider, St. Paul; Evelyn Schultz (Thoofl), Marshall; Rich- ard and Bonnie Kiel, Fayettville, PA; Lloyd and Elaine Seaman, Dubuque, IA; Katy and Ted Versluys (Williams), Salina, KS; Marge and Merlyn Cadwell (Will- iams), Clara City; Terry Madsen, Salem, MO; Mary Ellen Neyens (Sullivan), Russell; Don and Deloris Benson (Schultz), Taylors Falls, MN; Faye Anna Peterson (Silbertstein) Russell; Agnes and Ross Buchert (Polesky), Mankato; and teacher at RHS (1940-43), Russell Simondet, Lake Crystal, MN. RDC Held A0000lzual Meeting RDC held their annual meeting at the Russell Town hall on Mon- day night, September 23rd. There was a quorum present for the meet- ing. The meeting was called to or- der by President Larry Olson. The minutes of the last meet- ing were read and approved as read, as was the financial statement. Much discussion was held on the housing unit and what they want to do in the future. It is 25 years old and some work needs to be done. There are a couple of apart- ments empty right now. Election for a director was held to replace Alta. Russell Senior Citizens Met The Russell Senior Citizens met for their monthly potluck dinner and social afternoon on Wednes- day, September 18 at the Russell Town Hall. There were 19 present. Since there were many birthdays in September, we enjoyed cake and ice cream by more than one per-. son.
